From my earliest memories, I found myself immersed in a world where relatives and neighbors were passionate stamp collectors. Their tales about stamps from various cities worldwide fascinated me, unveiling a mosaic of countries, cultures, and traditions. Each stamp became a gateway to a new narrative, broadening my understanding of the global tapestry.
Motivated by these childhood impressions, I decided to incorporate the concept of stamps into this project, aiming to encapsulate essential information about Gainesville, a college town in Floirda. This idea serves as a homage to the rich storytelling tradition I encountered through stamp collecting. By utilizing stamps as a creative medium, I hope to weave together a visual narrative that not only showcases the uniqueness of Gainesville but also pays tribute to the invaluable lessons I gained through stamps in my formative years.
