"I realized if you can change a classroom, you can change a community, and if you change enough communities you can change the world."- Erin Gruwell

ALWAYS..... A HAPPY AND SAFE SPACE.
The classroom serves as a collaborative space where students and I work together to foster a positive learning environment. My enthusiasm lies in cultivating a supportive classroom atmosphere, driven by love, and enriched by empathy, kindness, and humor. I firmly believe that a successful classroom is one in which both the instructor and students join forces to explore opportunities. Furthermore, I consistently adapt my teaching methods and resources to cater to individual needs and interests, ensuring that students feel supported and empowered to embrace challenges.
Teaching design provides me with the opportunity to introduce students to a diverse range of artwork representing various cultures and backgrounds, a vital aspect in our ever-changing, multicultural society. By promoting interdisciplinary collaborations and engaging with different individuals throughout the course, I prepare students for their professional endeavors. I place equal importance on the creative process as well as the final outcome, designing assignments and projects that encourage research, critical thinking, writing, and collaborative efforts across disciplines. I motivate students to question, take risks, and become active investigators in their broader societal context.
