Students analyze and respond to current issues within a specific community through extensive research and collaboration with audiences. The project enables students gain knowledge on user-centered and socially conscious design. The project enables students to engage with people, communities, and their contexts in order to gather information to synthesize into infographics and other design solutions.In addition, the project allows students understand how to use various design research methods and conduct primary and secondary research in order to gain a deeper understanding of the community they are designing with and for understanding communities
